Wine decanter stamped with a rosette uncovered by Yigal Shiloh’s excavations of Area G in the City of David. Believed to have belonged to one of the last kings of Judah.

A rosette stamped on the handle of a wine decanter fragment indicates that it was the property of an important figure; the fragment dates to the late seventh or early sixth century BCE.
